EXTRA MURALS
EXTRA MURAL AWARDS
Scrolls and colours are awarded on an annual basis for Cultural Activities, Sport and Service, according to a point system. All learners begin to accumulate points at the beginning of their Grade 8 year.
EXTRA MURAL PROGRAMME
All girls participating in extra-mural activities need to plan their schedule around pre-determined timetable. The timetable is put in place in order to avoid clashes between activities as far as possible.

- Marimba Band:
St Dominic’s has a proud tradition of marimba playing and is well respected for the level of musicianship our girls display. Our various marimba bands rehearse on a Tuesday afternoon, with composing and arranging pieces as part of the activity. These pieces are then put together in a programme which gets performed at school functions, as well as at outside venues. Novices are welcome, but a passion for music-making is a MUST!
- Steel Band:
